Our Redbone Coonhounds are wonderful family oriented dogs. They live in our home, and are treated very well. We use them for hunting and field trials.

Redbone Coonhounds are a very smart, loyal, energetic breed. They do require stimulation or they will be destructive. There are varying shades of colour with them. Some are very dark red while others are a light copper colour. They sometimes also have white markings, usually on their toes or chest. They are wonderful with children, very patient and gentle. These dogs do require a fenced yard or dog run though as they tend to "follow their noses" most of the time. They can be stubborn, but are also eager to please.

Our puppies come with health check, deworming, and first shots. They also come with a puppy pack (blanket that smells like mom, food, and a toy). They are also microchipped. They are very well-socialized, and we do not release them to their new homes until they are 8 weeks of age.

There is minimal grooming requirements for Redbone Coonhounds: their nails need to be kept trimmed and their ears need cleaning from time to time. They are minimal shedders and live for about 10-14 years.

We currently live in Sundre, Alberta.
